Start with the transaction, not the screen.
At TymeBank, I mapped every point where 5M users could lose money before opening Figma. In financial products, understanding where trust breaks matters more than how screens look.
Build the system before the screen.
At Gull Network, I shipped the token system, component library, and brand before designing a single page. Screens without a system behind them become debt the moment the team scales.
Remove until it breaks.
NODO’s DeFi vault dashboard started with 40+ data points. After research with 24 participants, we shipped 8. Users who had never touched DeFi could suddenly read their portfolio.
If the team can’t build it, it’s not design.
I write production code in Next.js and ship with Cursor and Claude Code. When I hand off a component, I already know what it costs to build.
